According to a report by WhatsApp’s feature tracker WBTinfor, the meta-owned instant messaging platform is working on a new feature that will allow users to sneak out of the group without informing anyone.

This feature has recently been seen in the desktop version of the messaging app. A screenshot of this has been shared by WBTinfo. According to the screenshot, if this feature is rolled out in the future when users exit from a group, only the admin of that group will know about it.

According to WhatsApp, since the admins oversee the group, it is imperative that they have all the information about what is happening in the group. So if someone exits the group, the admins must have the right to know about it. However, the company did not say when Android and iOS users will get this benefit.
